When people ask about embroidering a hat, they think they need a big multi needle machine in order to do it. Most people don’t realize it, but you CAN embroider a monogrammed hat on your single needle machine like the Brother PE800.
There is only one limitation to embroidering a hat on a single needle, flat bed machine. It has to be a non-structured or soft hat. That means you have to be able to flatten out the hat and float it onto a hoop. In this Sip & Stitch, I show you how to use the Brim Board to help hold and flatten your hat in the hoop. It is an awesome device and makes embroidering hats so much easier!

I just purchased a brother SE 700 machine it actually comes in the mail tomorrow and I watched your video on doing your husband‘s dance troop hat well actually you embroidered some initials on a hat, but you showed your husband‘s hat and I’m trying to find the link for the brim board that you used and I can’t find it on that link.
