Spring is here and I love to change the decor on my front door to match the season. One trend is a boxwood wreath with a embroidered wreath sash hanging from the bottom. Lately I have seen some beautiful embroidery and monograms on these wreath sashes and wanted to try and make one for some Mother’s Day presents. This is a very simple project that is 4×4 friendly and can be done on any machine. I will be using my Brother PE800 for this tutorial so that you can see how easy it is. Also I am going to make my own sash from some scrape fabric, but you can also buy a wreath sash already made. One advantage of making your own is that you can embroider it before you sew it up and then the back of the embroidery will be hidden!
